Stunning antique trunk.
Decorative tooled leather exterior with solid brass hardware.
A heavy duty well made trunk.
Larger in size, makes for a great display piece.
"George F. Sinclair, Chicago" stamped on one side " G.F.S." on the other.
Original interior tray.
Unique shape and style.
Top rounded. This made it hard to stack other luggage on top, and was likely placed at or nearest the top.
Cleaned, conditioned, ready for use.

CONDITION
Good condition overall considering age and use.
Scuffs, scratches, dings, dents, staining inside and out, wear to fabric along interior.
Several of the exterior leather straps and handles have worn away.
Some of the brass corners are bent or cracked.
Leather is crackled throughout, but still solid, not actively flaking off.
Tear in leather along hinges from heavy top being opened over the years, top still secure in place.
Wear and tear does not affect function.
Has lock, but no key.
